You need to listen to the voice is your head the moment you have done something wrong, do you call yourself stupid and ridicule yourself? Do you beat yourself and spend days thinking how you could have done such a thing in the first place? It is really necessary for you to do that? Do you gain anything from it? Would you do the same thing to the people we dearly love if it was them who made the mistake? So be kind to yourself, when you have made a mistake, treat yourself the way you would treat a loved one who has made the same mistake. We treat others with so much love but we refuse to treat ourselves the same. Unless we treat ourselves with compassion, love and understanding when it comes to our financial decisions and spending habits, we will remain frustrated with money. The more we get frustrated, the further we push money away, and the more we are frustrated and the cycle continues.
In conclusion as we wrap up Vangile's book, Van says money is an emotional topic, many of us spend our lives chasing it only to end up hating or being frustrated, we beat ourselves up because we cant understand what we are doing wrong. Then we want to believe that our negative emotions about money are motivating us, but we can choose the good things about money to rather motivate us. We all know by now that what we put our minds on is what manifests, meaning if we put our mind on our frustration and bad decisions with money, we get more of it.
